On arrival you are transferred to your hotel. Afternoon a half-day visit to Gurudwara Sis Ganj, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and Gurudwara Rakab Ganj. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built and rebuilt. Today as the capital of India Delhi is the seat of administration and the monuments which tell the saga of a bygone era stand there. These icons are testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction for the tourists. With an area of 1483 sq. Kms, Delhi is all set to acquire full statehood. The charm of Delhi has attracted Emperors, Conquerors and poor in equally. It is correctly said that Delhi is a land of 'Dilwalas' or for people with heart. This phrase acquires a true colour when one goes around the lanes of Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi/Chandigarh/Parivar Vichhora/Anandpur Sahib/Chandigarh
Drive to Chandigarh ( 238 kms/05 hours). Check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Parivar Vichorra ( 52 kms/02 hrs ) and drive to Anandpur Sahib ( 30 kms/01 hr ) - fortress temple situated on the left bank of the river Satluj founded by the ninth Sikh guru , Guru Tegh Bahadur. It was here that the Sikh religion acquired its final military character. Drive back to Chandigarh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Drive Chandigarh / Amritsar
Morning sightseeing tour of Chandigarh , visiting the Museum , High Court , Assembly Chamber and Rock Garden. Afternoon drive to Amritsar ( 250 kms/06.50 hrs ) , situated on the north - western border of the country. The 400 years old city , founded by the fourth guru of the Sikhs , Guru Ramdas , has been the seat of the Sikh religion and culture from its very inception. It is renowned for the famous Golden Temple. Amritsar , literally - 'Pool of Nectar' , erives its name from the holy pond around the temple. The land for the pool was gifted by the Moghul Emperor Akbar. Check in at hotel on arrival. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : In Amritsar
Morning a half-day tour of Amritsar City. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
